This ELCA nationwide event is a reminder to us that we are meant to serve our neighbors. We are developing two service projects at St. Luke: 1) 9 AM - Noon, at Saranam, 10400 San Jacinto Ave, to do outdoor painting and related garden work; Saraman houses families in transition; 2) 9 AM - Noon, at HopeWorks, 1201 3rd St NW; to do cleaning, yard work, & sorting donations; HopeWorks is an outreach to the homeless.

Wear old clothes for painting and a hat and put on sunscreen. Bring water to drink.

Wear work clothes/hat and sunscreen. Bring your water bottle. The best place to park in behind the day shelter near the intersection of Rosemont and 4th street.
